Research on Optimization and Comfort Evaluation of Modern Residential Space Interior Design Based on Ergonomics

Abstract

With rapid urbanization and increasing demand for improved living quality, modern residential spaces have evolved from basic shelters into complex environments that integrate functionality, comfort, health, and emotional experience. Ergonomics provides an important theoretical basis for solving problems such as unreasonable spatial layout, inadequate functional adaptability, and insufficient comfort. This study establishes a comprehensive framework including theoretical analysis, design optimization, comfort evaluation system construction, and empirical validation. The research focuses on ergonomic optimization of modern residential interior environments, emphasizing the coordination of spatial layout, furniture dimensions, lighting, acoustics, thermal conditions, and functional applications. A multidimensional comfort evaluation system is developed and verified through representative residential cases. The results provide practical support for improving residential comfort and design adaptability. The proposed framework also offers engineering references for smart residential environments, indoor sensing, electromagnetic compatibility of intelligent home systems, and human-centered environmental monitoring.
