Research on the Method and Practice of Integrating Regional Cultural Elements into Interior Design of Commercial Complex
Main Article Content
Abstract
Driven by cultural confidence strategies and the transformation of commercial consumption experience, commercial complexes have evolved from commodity-trading spaces into urban public carriers for cultural dissemination, social interaction, and emotional resonance. To address spatial homogenization and weak cultural identity in commercial interior design, this study develops a systematic method for integrating regional cultural elements into commercial complexes. A four-dimensional decoding framework of material, spiritual, behavioral, and institutional culture is used to extract six design carriers: symbols, colors, materials, craftsmanship, scenes, and etiquette. Differentiated strategies are then proposed for Jiangnan water towns, Northwest loess culture, and Lingnan overseas Chinese hometown culture, and implementation paths are developed for public, retail, leisure, and service spaces. An evaluation system covering cultural recognition, consumer experience, commercial benefit, and cultural inheritance is used to verify design effectiveness. The framework supports culturally specific interior design while providing a technical reference for electromagnetic-compatible indoor communication, adaptive lighting, and digital display systems in commercial complexes.
