Research into the Innovative Development of Digital Economy in Binhai New Area, Tianjin

Abstract
As a developing economic form with strong growth potential, the digital economy is supported by the coordinated development of digital industrialization and industrial digitization, and plays an important role in regional economic growth and industrial restructuring. In engineering-oriented regions, this transformation is increasingly reflected in advanced manufacturing fields such as communication equipment, antenna manufacturing, electromagnetic components, and intelligent sensing devices, where computing power, data resources, and digital platforms directly affect design efficiency and production coordination. The digital economy in Binhai New Area, Tianjin has developed over many years and has become an important factor supporting sustainable regional development. Based on the theory of new quality productivity, this study explores the supporting role of computing power resources in digital economy development. SWOT analysis and grey relational analysis are used to examine the relationship between the digital economy, its sub-industries, and the real economy. The results are intended to provide a reference for Binhai New Area to strengthen digital infrastructure, improve the integration of digital technologies with advanced manufacturing, and release the development potential of the digital economy. These efforts can support the upgrading of engineering industries related to electromagnetic wave applications, antenna systems, and communication technology.
