Research on the Construction and Application of Erhu Performance Technique Database in Shanxi Textile Intangible Cultural Heritage Music

Abstract
This study focuses on erhu performance techniques in Shanxi textile-related intangible cultural heritage music and constructs a digital technique database through fieldwork, literature collation, and audio-visual digitization. Performance data from textile labor music, folk tunes, and local opera-related materials were collected, structured, and annotated to form a multidimensional information resource. The database records technique categories, audio segments, video evidence, regional sources, and heritage project metadata, and supports retrieval, teaching, preservation, and creative reuse. The study further discusses the application of the database in intangible cultural heritage protection, music education, dissemination, and artistic innovation. From an engineering perspective, the work transforms traditional performance knowledge into a searchable digital signal resource, providing a basis for acoustic feature extraction, multimedia transmission, and intelligent cultural archives. The framework can be extended to wireless audio-visual acquisition and electromagnetic-wave-based communication environments in digital heritage systems, provided that the technical infrastructure maintains recording fidelity and data integrity. The study offers a practical path for precise documentation and living inheritance of traditional music resources.
