Application of Ecological Planning Concept in Wetland Landscape Design and Environmental Protection Analysis

Abstract
Wetlands provide suitable habitats for various organisms, maintain rich biodiversity, and play an important role in water conservation, climate regulation, and ecological security. However, current wetland park landscape design projects still face problems such as ecological environment disturbance, insufficient protection of native habitats, and homogenization with ordinary water scenic parks. The ecological planning concept is an important component of the ecological environment governance system, and systematic research on its application in wetland landscape design and environmental protection is of practical significance for wetland conservation. This paper first reviews the research status of wetland parks, then analyzes the current conditions and existing problems of wetland landscape design and environmental protection. On this basis, it focuses on the specific application of ecological planning in wetland landscape design, including site selection, functional zoning, plant configuration, and hydrological design, as well as in environmental protection, including water purification, biodiversity conservation, and soil remediation. Practical cases are used to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed planning approach. In addition, intelligent monitoring technologies, such as wireless sensor networks and electromagnetic sensing methods, can provide technical support for long-term wetland environmental observation and management. By analyzing the application of ecological planning theory in wetland landscape design and environmental protection, this paper provides a scientific theoretical basis and practical reference for future wetland landscape design and ecological protection projects.
