Abstract

Smart tourism driven by the integration of digital technology and traditional tourism is reshaping tourist service experience and consumption behavior. Taking smart scenic area service scenarios as the research object, this study examines the mechanism by which smart tourism technology optimizes tourist experience and improves satisfaction. A smart tourism technology framework is constructed from four dimensions: intelligent tour guide systems, online reservation platforms, intelligent payment facilities, and virtual experience technology. Based on perceived value theory, a theoretical model of experience optimization and satisfaction improvement is developed. Field research is conducted in a national 5A scenic area, and 486 valid questionnaires are collected. Descriptive statistics, reliability and validity testing, and structural equation modeling are used to analyze the effects of different smart tourism technologies on tourist experience quality. The study clarifies the influence paths among technology use, information acquisition efficiency, service convenience, interaction quality, personalized experience, and tourist satisfaction. The findings provide theoretical support and operational reference for refined management and service optimization in smart scenic areas.
