Construction and Empirical Study of Quantitative Evaluation System for Cultural Inheritance in Landscape Space Creation

Abstract
To address the difficulty of quantitatively evaluating cultural inheritance effects in landscape space creation, this study constructs an evaluation system for landscape practice from four dimensions: material carriers, behavioral activities, spiritual imagery, and environmental coordination. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is used to calculate the weights of each dimension and indicator, while fuzzy comprehensive evaluation maps qualitative descriptions onto graded scales. A multi-level fuzzy synthesis model is then established to calculate comprehensive scores. Horizontal comparison among historical inheritance, modern translation, and ecological integration projects yields scores of 4.14, 3.91, and 4.03, respectively, with an inter-rater reliability coefficient of 0.85. Longitudinal verification in a historical district project further shows that the system has both discriminative capacity and practical diagnostic value. By transforming cultural features into measurable indicators, the method provides a quantitative tool for optimizing heritage-oriented design decisions. In engineering applications, the framework can be integrated with remote sensing, electromagnetic-wave imaging, and digital survey technologies to improve the acquisition and evaluation of spatial heritage information.
