Research on Optimization Design and Practice of Mountain Rural Settlement Landscape Based on Ecological Resilience

Abstract

Mountain rural settlements, characterized by complex terrain and fragile ecosystems, face challenges such as soil erosion, ecological-function degradation, and landscape homogenization. Taking ecological resilience theory as the core and combining the particularities of mountain rural settlement landscapes, this paper defines the connotation and evaluation index system of mountain rural settlement landscapes based on ecological resilience. It constructs a research framework of resilience diagnosis, optimization strategy, and practical verification. Using literature research, field investigation, analytic hierarchy process, and case study methods, Village X in the Funiu Mountain area of western Henan is selected as the research object. The paper systematically analyzes the current situation and shortcomings of ecological resilience in its settlement landscape. Optimization strategies are proposed from four dimensions: ecological base restoration, landscape function reconstruction, cultural resilience inheritance, and technical resilience support, followed by practical application. In addition to native fiber cultivation and soil-stabilization measures, the technical-resilience layer can integrate distributed sensing, wireless data transmission, and electromagnetic environmental monitoring to support long-term ecological observation without excessive site disturbance. The results show that the optimized settlement landscape significantly improves ecological stability and disaster resistance, providing a practical paradigm for resilient mountain-rural landscape optimization and sustainable textile-ecology integration.
