Abstract

Evaluating the effectiveness of large-scale consumption-stimulus policies requires a comprehensive understanding of their impacts on industrial development, energy utilization, and economic transformation. This study develops a dynamic computable general equilibrium (CGE) model to investigate the effects of consumer goods trade-in policies, focusing on the new energy vehicle and home appliance sectors. By integrating production, consumption, trade, energy, and environmental modules, the model captures the transmission mechanisms of policy incentives across multiple economic sectors. Scenario-based simulations are conducted using macroeconomic and industrial data to quantify impacts on demand expansion, industrial upgrading, energy efficiency improvement, and carbon emission reduction. Results indicate that trade-in policies generate significant positive effects on industrial growth and green transformation while promoting technological upgrading. The proposed framework provides quantitative support for policy optimization and offers analytical references for energy systems, sustainable industrial development, and technology-driven economic transitions.
